Retention Quotient

RQ is an objective self-assessment of your understanding of the 10 Leadership Retention Talents. It will take approximately 60 minutes to complete.

RQ is a questionnaire that will present you with a number of typical management scenarios and then ask you to choose from four possible actions. You will select one action that you believe would be most effective and one action that would be least effective.

Leaders who do not receive a score of 4 or higher on the first administration are encourages to retake the assessment every 6 months until a passing score has been achieved.

As a leader completing the assessment, you will receive a report on the Retention Talents you perform best and those where you have the greatest opportunities for improvement.

Here are some other considerations regarding RQ results:

• The first round of results will form a baseline assessment so you will know where to focus your improvement efforts.
• Your RQ results may be made available to your leader, if that option is selected, so they can coach you on any improvement areas.
