FirstFit™ is a survey that asks team members about what they value most in a leader. Specifically, it asks them how important it is to them that their leader practices each of the 10 Retention Leadership talents. FirstFit takes approximately 8-10 minutes to complete. A FirstFit report is immediately accessible to the team member's leader and shows the four talents most valued by their team member(s).

FirstFit is ideal as part of the new-employee orientation process and is also used when a team member changes leaders. Once a team member completes FirstFit, an email is automatically sent to the leader recommending a meeting be set up to get together with the employee and have a Handshake meeting.
