Onboard Connection™
is a unique orientation and employee engagement program designed to develop strong relationships between new employees and their leaders, as well as strengthen relationships between existing employees and their leaders. It can be used on its own or to augment your existing orientation process.

FirstFit™
FirstFit™ is a 6-8 minute powerful survey that asks team members what they value most in a leader. Upon completion, a FirstFit™ report is immediately accessible to leaders and shows the four qualities most valued by each of his or her team members.
FirstFit™ is ideal as part of an employee orientation and onboarding process and is also valuable when a team member changes leaders. The new leader can use the information to engage in a meaningful discussion with the new employee and begin building the foundation of a relationship built on trust and mutual commitment.
Handshake
Handshake is a short, structured meeting between a leader and each team member, for the purpose of building a relationship built on mutual trust and commitment. The leader will share what he/she will do to meet each team member's needs, based upon his/her FirstFit™ results, and the team member will commit to being an active part of the employee retention effort. At the end of the meeting, the leader and team member review the "Let's shake on it" action summary.
Handshake includes a new interactive e-learning module, Handshake Connection, which trains leaders step-by-step how to conduct a Handshake meeting and provides tips for best results. It includes job simulations and knowledge checks to ensure leaders' understanding of key learning points.
Reports and Tracking Accountability
Onboard Connection™ includes individual and group FirstFit™ reports, Handshake completion reports for accountability, and participation reports for individual leaders and departments. All reports and tracking tools are updated in real time and are accessible online.
Additional Enhancements
Onboard Connection™ can be customized to include additional retention training and leadership development tools, including:
RetentionLinks™ - A 3-hour blended learning program including a 90 minute workshop and 60 minute online module, plus on-the-job experiences. The program helps team members better understand how turnover affects them, how to effectively deal with their own feelings when thinking about leaving, and will educate them on how to recognize signs that fellow team members are thinking about leaving.
